Casino Red Goes in Land
21st Aug 2007Casino Red Ltd, known as one of the leading online casnos, is now going to open up its first land based venue. The casino will open in the former Princess Cinema on Northumberland Street in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
"Everyone associated with Casino Red is delighted to now have the opportunity to develop an entertainment venue that the town can enjoy", stated Nicholas Boyes-Hunter, Chief Executive Officer of Casino Red. "Casino Red will invest £5M in the development to ensure one of Huddersfield’s most loved listed buildings is sympathetically restored to its former glory as the centrepiece of Huddersfield entertainment."
This move should bring good contribution to the town economy, as it will create over 120 jobs across its leisure and entertainment facilities, which in terms according to the casino's management should bring £10 million worth of investment into the Huddersfield during the first years. The building should be restored and brought to light by the huge investments and should therefore create a very beautiful view in the heart of the town.
"Huddersfield is a vibrant town with a thriving social scene and we are confident of developing a spectacular site for a tremendous town," Boyes-Hunter explained. "Our venue will be a massive addition to the town's entertainment and leisure facilities and will draw visitors from far and wide."
The building has four floors containing gaming, food outlets and live entertainment. The basement of the venue is going to be a poker room and the ground floor will make other popular games available, such as roulette, blackjack and fruit machines. VIP area will be situated on the third floor with a view over the whole casino and the mezzanine circle will have all of the restaurants and cafes, like Scarlet, an 85 –seat restaurant with a separate circle bar.
CasinoRed.com is working with architects who are based in Leeds and interior designers WDL, which will ensure the smooth building restoration and respect for the original design and structure. Inside the building will combine both: original features and contemporary design, giving it a very unique edge between tradition and progress.
