UC Group payment processor suffering
21st January, 2010
The UC Group have now fully processed their 2008 profits and the results have shown that the year wasn’t as good as they had hoped it to be. The pre tax profits seemed to have fallen by a substantial 30% from the previous year.
The UC Group is a payment processing company with ancillary technology services who had managed to raise the standards in the global market as well as provide some valuable additions to the marketplace which their competition haven’t managed to offer yet.
However, with the loss of the US market, this was a significant problem for a lot of online casino’s and companies which dealt with online casinos – it was then made illegal for the payment processor companies to stay within the market, and any attempt at illegal operations were eliminated when the NETeller case occurred.
The UC Group has since spent millions of pounds in order to lobby for new, more liberalized gambling laws within the US allowing for legalized and offshore online casinos – however, UC Group are more known for their quality payment processor services which allow for online gaming companies to deliver high quality payment alternatives as well as monitoring fraud.
