Trump to bring casino resort to Boston?
20th December, 2007
The multi-millionaire is said to be showing interest in a number of sites in the area – which one entrepreneur says would be a "tremendous asset to the city of Boston".
Michael Tarshi, a Boston-based property developer who was a candidate in the third series of the US version of the Apprentice, is said to be delighted by the reported plans.
"Donald Trump will further improve the international appeal of Boston and stamp the city with his luxury brand," Mr Tarshi said.
He added: "To be a part of The Apprentice and share the same passion for real estate as Donald Trump and to now have him scouting projects in my city is tremendous."
Trump, who lives in New York, is the founder of Trump Entertainment, which operates several casinos across the US and the rest of the world.
