Top Las Vegas shows named
4th January, 2008
Stomp Out Loud and Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular have been named the top two Las Vegas shows of 2007 by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The publication said that the two shows were the best out of a list of ten which had proved particularly popular over the last 12 months.
It is the second time that Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular has made it into the list of top ten performances despite only opening in the summer of 2006.
It has proved popular with patrons from across the world who come to hear the original score from the Andrew Lloyd Webber original but with added sets and new effects.
Also cited as being top shows to see when visiting the gambling hub were Celine Dion's A New Day, and Cirque du Soleil's "O" and LOVE.
Last month, Celine Dion said farewell to Las Vegas performing her last ever show after nearly five years.
A New Day was performed 717 times in all at the 4,100-seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace - grossing over $400 million (£200 million).
