Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes leaving Las Vegas
18th December, 2007
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have returned from Las Vegas after visiting the city to watch Celine Dion sing at the world-famous Caesar's Palace casino.
The couple enjoyed a two-day break in the gambling hub – with their last night spent at the singer's two-and-a-half hour show.
"Tom and Katie walked in before the show started and the crowd went crazy," a source told People.com. "Tom waved to the crowd and signed numerous autographs."
The show was the penultimate for Dion who finally bowed out of her five-year stint singing at Caesar's Palace the next night.
She earned more than $250 million (£123 million) for the performances - with more than three million people seeing her sing at the casino hotel.
Cruise and his stunning wife clearly made the most of their trip to Vegas, having been spotted dining at top Japanese restaurant Nobu in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
"They came in unnoticed through the back door, leading from the pool straight to a blocked off VIP area, away from the busy restaurant," an onlooker told Showbiz Spy.
