Pinnacle Casinos are Expanding
7th November, 2007
Pinnacle Entertainment Inc., the Vegas-based company has a lot of casino complexes in mind. Great sums of money are going to develop and open casino complexes, which have everything one can need. The plans are stretching to 2009, when there should be about 3 more casino complexes and hotels under Pinnacle’s umbrella.
$500 million brand new Casino complex downtown St. Louis is going to open its doors to the public on December 19, as was announced by a project spokesman yesterday.
The same Tuesday, Pinnacle Entertainment Inc., who owns the Lumiere Place Casino, announced the plans to make a four season hotel a part of the new entertainment district. The company is aiming to own the hotel, which would be under the management of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
The features of the hotel will include 200 rooms, an eighth-floor “sky lobby”, a restaurant Cielo, a presidential suite, meeting and banquet space and a day spa.
Pinnacle will also renovate an Embassy Suites hotel, which will be renamed to HoteLumiere. The renovation will cost Pinnacle $16 million and is scheduled to open on the same day with another hotel, some time before March 2008.
There is also a tunnel that will open in March, which will connect the casino complex in Laclede’s Landing area and the area by the America’s Center convention.
But this is not all, as Pinnacle is also arranging another casino complex in south St. Louis County, which will cost the company $375 million. Originally it was supposed to open next year, but the plans have been postponed and now the complex is looking to 2009 for the grand opening, due to the current saturation of projects that need looking after.
