Casino review website oggs.com has announced the winners of its annual Online Casino Awards, which includes operators, games and casinos.
The honours recognise the top internet-based gambling sites in 2007 from across the globe including Europe, the US and Japan.
Virgin Casino was named as top UK online casino and was praised for keeping things simple and regularly expanding its games selection.
Runner-up Ladbrokes was also given the thumbs up for its use of Microgaming interface with Slot Tournaments and Live Dealer plug-ins.
Across the pond, US-based gambling sites were also praised, with oggs.com hailing iNetBet as the country's top offering. The review site said it had managed to keep hold of its reputation despite the country's "uncertain business environment".
Gaming Club was named as best Japanese online casino, while the top award in Europe was handed to Bet365 Casino which swayed the judges through its use of multi-language options and currencies.
