Online poker has grown considerably over the past few years, with over 20 million people playing on the virtual tables. However, the online tables will never manage to eclipse the real adrenaline rush of the real tables, especially when it comes to watching your favourite pro’s battle it out on the final table.
There is an ever growing market of people who enjoy watching major televised poker games, and this is where NBC & Full Tilt Poker are placing their bets.
These two industry giants are putting their chips together to create a weekly TV programme which seeks out online poker players to give them the opportunity to prove themselves and show off their skills on real professional tables.
The programme will be named ‘Face of Ace’ and will give talented online poker players media exposure which could present them with many opportunities.
It's easy to brush online casino players to the side as talentless, but NBC & Full Tilt believe that there is a well developed talent pool online just waiting to be uncovered.
