Mike Ashley is favoured for Les Ambassadeurs Bid

Indonesian cigarette billionaire, Putera Sampoerna has decided to sell Les Ambassadeurs, the London casino, in efforts to focus on his US and web-based businesses. Some reports have suggestion his reasoning for selling after just buying the casino for £115 million a year ago relate to uncertainty pertaining to the future of the UK Casino industry.
Mike Ashley, sports retail entrepreneur and owner of Premiership Football Club Newcastle United is supposedly favoured to win the bid for the casino, which is estimated to sell for around £90 million. Harrah’s, the gaming mega-company is also believed to be running for the London casino.
