Malaysian Gaming website to Open in the UK

Genting plan to open a new site called "circuscasino.co.uk" on Friday. After online gambling was outlawed in the US last year several companies have been looking for market opportunities elsewhere. Genting have identified the UK as one of the fastest growing market's and have decided to open a new casino and poker site. They are likely to face tough competition from market leaders such as Littlewoods, Intercasino and Gala Casino.
With plans to launch sites in Asia Genting believe, setting up a site in the UK will act as good preparation for a launch into the Asian gambling market. The Asian market is one of the fastest growing worldwide with a predication of 14% growth per year until 2010.
Genting brought the UK casino company Stanley Leisure in 2006. The company will launch the new casino site at the Beach Casino in Mayfair London on Friday. Stanley failed in previous attempts to set up an online casino market due to the competitiveness found in online gaming.
Several other companies have struggled in recent times to establish a market presence, but Genting will be able to use their current database of real world casino players to encourage them to play online.
