Ladbrokes to be Investigated

Ladbrokes, the business which has online casino, online poker, online bingo and online betting sites that are all extremely popular and successful, has now created their first ever advertising campaign. It has now been announced that ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) will examine the campaign very closely now, that it received four complaints, which claim that the celebrities used in the ad encourage showing off and seem encouraging for young people to start gambling before the legal age. Basically according to the unsatisfied public, the M&C Saatchi created ad is targeting underaged people, rather than responsible adults, who would not be tempted by such bravado appeals.
This is what Ladbrokes spokesperson had to say about the matter: “Given that it’s the first time gambling companies have been able to advertise, we’re not entirely surprised there have been complaints. But we don’t think we have transgressed and we will vigorously defend our case."
