Casino Royale to appear on stamp

Poker fans planning to post a letter over the next few weeks may want to opt for a special set depicting the cover of Ian Fleming book Casino Royale.
The new 1st class stamps are to mark the centenary of the birth of the James Bond creator and are being launched today.
In all, designs from six of the writer's novels will be used, including Dr No, Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, For Your Eyes Only and From Russia With Love.
Julietta Edgar, the Royal Mail's head of special stamps, said: "It is estimated that over half the world's population have heard of James Bond, which is an incredible testament to the imagination of his creator, Ian Fleming.
"I'm delighted to see that the most famous super-spy is once again in the service of Queen and country and will be appearing on millions of items of post."
Casino Royal was Fleming's very first Bond novel and has been made into a film three times since its first publication in 1953.
