Bumper year for 32Red

1st February, 2008

The Gibraltar-based online casino gambling group 32Red has issued its latest turnover figures for 2007, reporting strong year-on-year growth across both its casino and poker business.

32Red Casino already has a reputation as being one of the net's most trusted gambling firms, a standing which is borne out by the boost to both its turnover and number of regular customers in the past year.

Revenue for the online casino business spiked 7.6 per cent to £9 million and the total number of active players rose a massive 26 per cent to reach almost 19,000 camblers. The poker wing of the company also enjoyed a surge in customers, though yields per player were down in line with the wider industry.

Chief executive officer Ed Ware said that last year's trading was on track with management expectations and that the year ahead would see 32Red move further into continental European markets with the launch of a number of foreign language casino services.

"Management focus is now 100 per cent on the core successful 32Red brand," Mr Ware affirmed. "The launch of new products and new language services herald the start of 32Red's next phase of growth."

32Red has been named Best Online Casino four years in a row by the Watchdog and Player Advocate site Casinomeister.
