Ayala to play casino gig

Mexican music legend Ramón Ayala is set to entertain fans and gambling enthusiasts alike at the popular Spotlight 29 Casino in California next month.
The singer and accordionist will be strutting his stuff at the gambling haunt in Coachella on January 27th and is expected to perform some of his best known songs including Un Rinconcito En El Cielo, Chaparra De Mi Amor and Tragos Amargos.
Tickets have gone on sale in the Spotlight 29 Casino shop to see the Latin Grammy Award-winning artist and cost between $35 (£17) and $45.
Other stars who have entertained the crowds at Spotlight 29 include LeAnn Rimes, Don Rickles, Kenny Rogers, Roseanne Barr, Paul Rodriguez, Ana Barbara and Carrot Top.
The venue has long proved a popular one for gaming buffs with its 110,000 square foot casino, 2,000 slots machines and 30 table games.
Poker fans also frequent the casino's 11-table poker room which features Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha and 7-Card Stud High Low.
