888 named Casino Operator of the Year

With many honourable mentions at the 2008 eGaming Awards, which is an annual event where industry experts come together to recognize the best people in the online gaming business, there was one operator that stood out above most and was rewarded heavily for it.
888.com had a spectacular night at the awards ceremony, taking home three of the awards in total – two of them being Operator of the Year for different categories. The popular online gaming operator was named Casino Operator of the Year as well as Bingo Operator of the Year, which really cements just how effective the brand is in multiple markets.
In addition to these outstanding honours, 888.com was also named Land-links Partnership of the year, making the operator one of only two to be take home three awards. The other operator, who had a great night and was honoured with three awards, was Ladbrokes – which also runs operations in multiple markets.
888.com is one of the most trusted names in the business and always aims to provide a superior product for its customers, plus it’s not too shy to spend some money on marketing, and that’s probably why it did so well.
The 888 Casino has been popular for quite some time, but 888 Ladies (the bingo site) has just recently burst onto the scene and had some really promising results. Everyone at 888 must be pleased with their showing at the eGaming awards and will likely carry the momentum forward.
This was the fourth annual eGaming Awards, which was held in London on the 19th of September at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
