888.com have made deals with British Airways, Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines to bring online gaming to passnegers.
Virgin Airline is already bringing Virgin Casino to its passengers and its success is set to be rivalled by 888.com.
The passengers on the three above airlines will be given the opportunity to access casino sites and place bets using their credit cards from 30,000 feet. If the trial proves to be successful other airlines are set to follow suit.
Gamcare are worried that the move will introduce gaming to a market that would not usually place a bet. Longhaul flights are boring and this could be the entertainment that passes the hours for frequent flyers!
